Inter finally returned to the winning path against Verona and this was what Samir Handanovic spoke about with Sky Sport:
“After Pama it was important to re-start and play with heart and rhythm. We won but it was not easy. It was satisfying to keep a clean sheet, has not happened many times this year. We need first to think about not conceding, then about scoring. Europe? We always need to believe in it, on Sunday we have the derby and anything can happen. Renewal? We will see, I still don’t know what the club wants. Ask my agent, but at the moment there have been no steps forward.”

for Handanovic, it’s not about the money, he’s simply tired of the mediocrity
if Inter wouldn’t want to give him a significant raise then how on earth Petr Cech is even an option? he is older and makes 3-4 times more than Handa right now. so i’m sure it is Samir’s decision

Handa best goalkeeper ever… but its sad to admit that inter is holding him back from CL and some real competition
He will not experience much joy on inter in the immediate future sadly but he’s important if we want to go back where we belong at the top of serie A
