Hernanes was interviewed by Gazzetta TV while attending the charity dinner “Together for Georgia“ at the Westin Palace in Milan. He started by speaking of his personal situation:
“Two weeks ago I hardly played at all, I was stuck on the bench and didn’t seem to be a part of Mancini’s plans. To the fans I say that they should prepare for our climb back to being a top club in world football, and they can take my word for it”.
About the next game against Roma: “It’s an important game, for me it’s like a derby match. We are looking for continuity in our performances, but especially in our results. I am happy because I manage to do things that I wasn’t able to pull off earlier. When I play regularly I will be able to prove what I’m made of”.
The last part of the interview was about the future of the Brazilian and the possible arrival of Yaya Touré in an Inter shirt: “I am concentrated on the project. There’s no way that I am leaving without winning a trophy. My heart is here. Touré? He is a great champion. Now we are focusing on doing everything we can in the last few games of the season, then we will see what happens in the summer..”.

Really sad that he has to be benched instead of the birdshooter.
