Roberto Mancini got interviewed by Mediaset Premium after the win and they started discussing the penalty not given to Inter after the handball by Biglia:

“We are discussing an episode where several people have differing opinions; this should make us reflect on the matter of instant replays for the referees. As for the rest of it I am happy about the victory against a great team like Lazio. It was an open game, then the sent off which was correct changed the game. Even though they defended themselves very well in nine.”

They then spoke about the impact Kovacic had on the game:

“We needed to try and win the game, Mateo has the quality. Palacio is a great player and he has shown it these years. I hope that next season, returning after a months’ vacation he can do even more because he is still a complete player. Icardi? If you count in the whole game he played well. He had the opportunities to score but did not, but that happens.”

Hernanes who got a yellow this evening will not be available against Juventus.

“It is too bad because he was playing well, but there is nothing we can do about it.”

The reporter the asked Mancini about the possibility to see Dybala at Inter next season:

“He is a Palermo player, we are interested in him but so are other teams. I don’t know what can happen.” And lastly about the Europa League chase:

“Juve and Genoa are very difficult; a lot will depend on those two games.”
