Yaya will definitely leave City this summer, so he knows that he earns much less than his current wage 12m per year. So, don’t be surprised that he accepted 5m per season. Yaya will maintain stability in our midfield. He is good both in defense and attack, so he is definitely a very good signing.

Guarin inconsistency is a big problem. and he simply doesn’t help much with the team defensively or keeping possession. the only good thing is moving forward but even that depend on his “day” or he end up shooting the birdies again.

Sell Guarin for 12-15 Mil. Toure just has outstanding salary demands and that is the problem. Guarin earns 3 Mio, Toure minimum 5 but he would be an upgrade

I think Mancio might switch to a 4-4-2 with Yaya and Kovacic/Brozovic in the center and using wingers next season. He did try that first when he came. And SHaq is more of a winger than an attacker. If we get Lamela or someone else on the other flank it could work.
I think Mancini will use 4-2-3-1. Yaya will play as Left Attacking Midfield. Just like Yaya role in Man City.
