Gianluca Di Marzio in the Sky Sport studio gave updates regarding the latest developments fpr Inter’s transfer strategy. There was a meeting during the day between Inter president Erick Thohir and coach Roberto Mancini. According to Di Marzio Thohir assured Mancini about which players are coming in.
“Thohir reassured the coach, especially in regards to the ongoing talks for Yaya Touré. We are almost there, but obviously there is still some waiting ot be done before we can put a “done” on this deal.”
He also said that Jovetic is being discussed as well and that there is optimism regarding the transfer dealings. On his site Di Marzio then added that:
“Mancini also showed the squad he’d like to have for next season. And for each nome there was also a second choice. Thohir guaranteed that it will be a great Inter to the coach’s satisfaction.”

yaya is a good choice especially if we add helping Gnpukouri to develop, but only if the transfer amount doesn’t exceed EUR 14-16 m
Why all the hate over fredy? He can be very important for us, just like his game against Atalanta a couple months ago where he won it on his own for us, was one of the best indiv performance I have seen this season from an inter player. You can see the passion he puts in for us and is like a leader (more so than frog). Mancio can get consistency out of him, I know it.

Can he play as a dmf ? I was wondering if he couldn’t then medel will be the dmf . Yaya as a cmf . Now we have 2 places left and 3 players to fill it up . Shaq kova and hernanes . That gets more complicated if we get another midfielder like fekir
Yaya has played as a DM before but it would be a waste , yesterday he played as a attacking midfielder and scored two goals 😉

maybe i didn’t match fully. he didn’t play as a dmf , playing in a two man midfield doesn’t mean you are a defensive midfielder . in that sense sahin and gundogan .
For me personally, reading this actually make me sad… i’ve been supporting Inter since early 90’s and we are always repeating the same transfer strategy, selling the prospects to get the so called superstar that turned out a washed out one… Yaya is a great player, but for me we have Kovacic and Gnoukari who will be better… we should keep all the prospects we have and sell the deadwoods, selling handa/kova/icardi will only hurt us… like i said many times before, why we keep guarin and sell kova? for me guarin is a failure
You’re right with our transfer strategy, but the prospects like Kovacic and Gnoukouri will learn a lot of a player with a lot of quality and experience like Toure. Kovacic is a good player if he is in form and Gnoukouri has showed his quality in the games he played, but I think with Toure, they will be getting better.

Hernanes as an amf (if he continue like this ) and guarin as a player for another club
Some say he is old and we shouldnt invest on him, but he has a mentality from a league winning team and as we have seen in his last game, he still has class! Plus if he is willing to cut his wages that would be awesome
I would love to see Yaya come to us finally. However i think we need to focus on full backs to buy as d’ambrosio and dodo are clearly not good enough. Maybe a right back like Opare from Porto, and santon to be our left back?

Now I can discuss with all of you Interistis:) I think that if Toure come, he will be an important player for us the next season, because he has a lot of quality and experience that we need in our midfield!

I don’t know if the player has the desire to play like where he played in Man City and Barcelona, especially regarding his age, but it might turn the opposite.
