Good news from England tonight for Inter as Sunderland have confirmed their safety from relegation in the Premier League with a 0-0 draw against Arsenal. Safety was the necessary requirement to trigger the redemption of Ricky Alvarez who is on loan with the Black Cats.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the fee should have been 11M Euro as agreed last Summer but the leadership at Sunderland could ask for a small discount given the problems the Argentine has had with injuries this season.
The money from the deal could be used to pay the first parts of fees owed for Marcelo Brozovic and Xherdan Shaqiri and considering Inter will also save on Alvarez’s wages, the first instalment relating to the purchase of Gary Medel could be paid.

Discount??? Heck no.. When Sunderland signed the contract, it was always with the clause “AS IT IS”.. No reason for discounts. Not even for the sake of good relationship

Gary Medel – 3,66mln € /pay to Cardiff – Piero Ausilio, Inter’s transfer chief had played hardball with Cardiff all summer, insisting their relegation to the Championship had weakened their bargaining power and was keen to pay closer to £7m (11 mln €) with payments spread over the next three seasons and had even mooted an initial loan deal./

If we want good team we need to sell players….. We are at 0 € from the start of the mercato!
You forgot about bonazzoli, that just over €7 m. If inter can manage selling one or all of kuz, guarin and naga, that should leave use pretty much in the green
And Handa. He don’t want to stay with Inter
If we do, he must bring 20+mil, he mustve saved like 6 or 7 penalties in a row this season! Not forgetting that he is one of top ten fifa ranked goalkeepers. I honestly dont want him to go, but he deserves to shine in elite competitions, and we can dry our tears with the 20+ mil 😀
Handa will be first that we sell, 10m is the price, he has only 1 year contact! With this money we will get Yaya Toure first! Romero and Neto are good options for GK for free, Begovic and Cech are the best for around 10-14m!
Bonazzoli transfer is in this season 14/15 for sure! Dunkan is for the summer!
Wow, nice summary. Thanks a lot! 🙂
Dodo has a mandatory buyout of 9 million…..are you telling me that it’s 1.2 mill + 1.2 mill + 9 mill for Dodo? this can’t be true………if it is then not even branca would make that deal !!
Here at Sempre Inter we LOVE how you continue to spread your buttcheeks to cry out for attention! #TrollsTryTheirBest
Dodo is on loan for 2 year – for 1.2m each year, we will pay the rest next mercato 16/17!
No we bought him for 2.5 mil for two years and after that we can dump him to Roma! Die bitch!
you idiot! read this: 1.2 mill 2 year loan + 7.8 mill mandatory buyout clause…LMAO !! What a waste of money. See this is why Marco Branca should be the sporting director of Inter instead of Ausilio 🙂
Dodo initially joins Inter on a two-year loan at a cost of €1.2m, but the deal includes an obligatory buy-out clause of €7.8m, to come into effect when he plays his first official game.

he he its not rue…he he. You mad? Look at you, you are whinig to me to prove smth. Dont forget lunch money for school kiddo. Give me reply soon, please, more of the same
actually it is 100 % true……..and this is the great Ausilio ? Don’t you miss Marco Branca already 😉
Good news, so next year i can still see you on some games, especially when you guys meet chelsea…
We’re off to a good start before the Mercato.
Now spend it wisely.
In Ausilio We Trust
Too bad with the injury issue, but not really our problem. Part of the risk any club runs when signing players. Good luck in the future Ricky ..
Don’t know to be sad or happy…
PL club dont need a discount
And than, give that money for medel and brozovic…Well Its not that they are that bad,but simply they are not Inter material. Or they cannot make inter winning team.Last years we always manage to get a lot of mediocre players. We need money for class players.
Brozovic is only 22.
People forget that players like Kovacic, Brozovic, Shaqiri, Juan and Icardi are all under 25.
They have plenty of time to develop into class players, be more patient with them.
One more Argentine gone. Good luck, Ricky! 🙁
This is refreshing. Congratulations sunderland!
good! we will be screwed if they’re relegated, not getting the money and stuck with injured player with quite big salary and nobody will buy him.
good news, thank you Arsene wenger for 0-0 last night
Great injection of money, we will have a lot of expenses to cover this summer.
no discount! pay us all!
10M should be fine
Why accept a discount when the amount is fixed in the contract?
Anyway great news that the sale condition has been triggered. It was touch and go for a while.
For the sake of good relationship. We’ve done the same in the past (asked for a discount)
relationship with who? sunderland? they’ll relegate next year
