Mateo Kovacic’s future is anything but certain. The Croatian talent has been heavily linked with Liverpool in recent weeks, and many reports suggest that a deal has already been struck. However, after Croatia’s match against Italy, Tuttosport interviewed Kovacic, and just released what the midfielder had to say about his future:
“I am currently happy in Italy, and we will see what will happen. Right now, all I am thinking about is my holiday. All I know is that I will be returning to Appiano Gentile on July 5. I have not heard anything different from the club. We do not have to talk because I recently renewed my contract. I do not expect any negotiations, but you never know what can happen in the mercato. I have not spoken to Rakitic about the Champions League Final, but I have heard about what it means to win it from Modric and Mandzukic. Every player dreams of playing in the Champions League and winning it. I do as well.”

If some day he will leave ( i don’t wish it ), i would like to see him in Barcelona. With Messi, Neymar, Iniesta and Rakitic. Then some people will understand what we had and what we lose. But i wish it will not happen.

yes please. pato seems like a natural replacement for palacio. he’s fast, good with the ball and makes good runs. should be a natural way to go for inter and makes room for investments in more needed areas of the squad
