According to FcInterNews.it, the contract extension of Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is pretty much done. The Slovenian, 30, has made 125 appearances for Inter from 2012 to the present and he is expected to sign up to the new project of Roberto Mancini.
Depending on his commitments with the Slovenian national team the former Udinese keeper will sign an extension until June 2018 with an option until 2019, in the next couple of weeks.
The player’s salary will increase from the current 2M Euro up to 2.7M Euro with individual and team bonuses leading to an eventual salary of 3M Euro total net.
Also there are no clauses in favour of an eventual departure in the case of offers from clubs playing in the Champions League.

Handanovic is not a leader nor organizer. I would be better to sell him with right price of 15-20M. If Inter is building a new team, we should be active in transfer market. IMO, we can appoint Bardi as a first choice goalkeeper and sell or swap Handanovic with other clubs. If Ausilio was a good transfer specialist, he would swap Handanovic with Darmian. This means: BARDI + DARMIAN = HANDANOVIC.
I’m not opposing selling Handa, but the replacement should be better than just another mediocre team benchwarmer.
changing goalkeeper to young inexperienced benchwarmer mediocre team would be suicidal. especially when you only have crappy defenders in front of him.
but with only a year left, you wont get 15-20M for Handa.
if Ausillio can swapped Handa with darmian, well, he’s not transfer specialist, he would be ‘God of transfers’, LOL.
why the hell Handa would accept move to lower team such as torino when his ambition is to play for competitive team in the highest level competition (UCL) and win some trophies?
When you ask questions like “why the hell Handa would accept move to lower team such as torino when his ambition is to play for competitive team in the highest level competition (UCL) and win some trophies?” the real questions should be “why would he want to play for Inter in the first place ? “
Why we need an organiser at goal?
handanovic is much, much better than bardi
Hando has no offers due to his lackluster final 6-8 performances. He screwed up when Man U was there to see if he had what it takes. I think with a good offer he should be sold. Surprised Carrizo got renewed seems pointless. Bardi needs to come back and get schooled by Toldo. For their entire career, Bardi always started ahead of Perin in NT until last year. He is Toldo to Perin Buffon.
nice… so sell bardi and get the money
No commitment from him, he just renew because no offer for him.. And currently he is awful.. Look at slovenia vs england.. Wilshere goal, he didn’t react at all.. And i thought last 5 serie A games he became mediocre goalie.. I would prefer another goalie for next season, and it is an advantage for inter to gain cash from him, when management can’t sell either kova or icardi..
Hope he actually has the will to go on with inter… because if has doubts about the team, it’s better to sell him
this is the 2nd article about his renewal within a few weeks. i’ll believe it if i see it on inter.it…
Might be bad news for Kovacic….
I seriously hope not. If we really need to raise money Guarin and Rano can be spared hopefully
yeah but who can be dumber than Inter to want these 2 pieces of trash ?
that’s some commitment.
On the other side, Milan getting Ibra – Jackson – L. Adriano, Juve getting Mandzukic, and we are getting …………………………..
Easy, It is just rumours…
I guess we getting screwed buddy…LOL
The transfer window hasn’t even opened yet, i guess the priority at the moment is renewing/extending contracts of our key players and after that arrivals will slowly come in. All I hope is that Mancini gets the players he needs quite early so they have as much time as possible to integrate into the team.
relax dude, The only big confirmed moves are Dybala and Khedira to Juve. Also, I note you just quoted forwards in your post… A solid defence is what counts most for us considering we have Kovacic, Shaqiri and Icardi further forward already who are all incredibly young.
Come on bro, in next couple months, Milan will end up with likes of De Jung, Alex and Honda.
Alex is gone to Brazil….but as long as Ranocchia plays for inter nothing will change for this team !!
YAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS
