Jeison Murillo remains concentrated on his national team duty with Colombia in Copa America. When he spoke after the win in Chile against Brazil, the defender preferred not to talk about his coming move to Inter saying:
“The time will come to think about this as well”. He then continued saying he prefers to focus on working hard to do as well as possible with the national team. Murillo scored the winning goal against Brazil, but for him it was not a important win, not yet.
“It was a satisfying win. We were able to play compact and we found our way with good passing that led us to the win. Against Peru we need to be fully focused, like we were against Brazil so that we can get a positive result.”

This is a good buy. Murillo, Miranda, are a fair start to the mercato. If only we could bring in Darmian (maybe in exchange for juan and a mil or so on top)
I have never watched a game with him expect on youtube and there is not too much material there ether, so I was very exited to tune in for Brazil-Colombia and watch him play.
THE BAD:
well he did make two bad moves and Brazil had the two best chances for goal from those mistakes. The first one was a tackle in empty space on Alves from Brazil which lead to a free ball in behind of the defense and a good pass from Alves to Neymar just for a straight header in to the goalie from 6-7 meters away from the goal. The second one was a short pass to the goalie which lead to a scramble ball and eventually a miss to a almost empty goal from 9-10 meters by Firmino.
THE GOOD: well apart from those two mistakes Murilo had a rock solid performance. He score from a scrambled ball what was not a easy shot as there was lots of bodies there but he show great instinct. Defensively he made couple of interception and steals but this guy is fast and strong on the ground and the air. I was quite impressed by Murilo. He really reminds me on Cordoba just little bit more stronger and half size bigger then the legend.
MIRANDA how ever had a rock solid performance as well, so Im really pumped up about the good if not great defense I saw from those guys.
WE HAVE SIGNED MIRANDA. Everything confirmed by multiple sources, only an official news by the clubs needed. 15million. I think this is an amazing purchase, he still has atleast 3-4 years in him and he is a really really good defender. Amazed how quick the signing hapenned, usually we need about 1 month to sign somebody.
And it’s a loan for with obligation to purchase with bonus. 3m loan, and 9m redemption next season plus 2m bonus if Im not mistaken. And it will be announced in 1st of July. Murillo and Miranda, a good start for this mercato :))

haven’t watched him to be honest, but usually players coming from international competitions are fatigued or prone to injury. Also Miranda is In copa, Hope they both come back in good shape because I really want them to have the energy for inters pre season. Although given ranocchia is inters captain and for some reason Mancini likes him lol, I persume its going to be ranocchia Miranda partnership.

Its guarin, he has some leadership qualities, I still remember when he came between Osvaldo and icardi, so in that sense he can be captain. Obviously his inconsistency on the pitch is the issue here.

First of all, it would make sense to have Murillo as left CB as he is left footed and Miranda as right back because he is right footed.
As for picking Juan, i think he showed that he is a good in defence and stabilized us a lot. He kinda played like Micah Richards did in City(but in the other side), which is very high praise. That said, he have lacked offensively, but he can learn to make better crosses and improve on that.
I don’t see backs as where we should invest, we need a winger and experienced midfielder more in my opinion. We also have Ambrosio should Juan fail to establish himself as fullback.
