According to reports from Turkey, Fredy Guarin is supposed to have accepted a move to Fenerbahçe. The Turkish press reported the positive outcome of the meeting that took place in Istanbul between the club’s sporting director, Giuliano Terraneo, and the Colombian player of Inter who gave his word to the former goalkeeper of Milan and Torino, in the past also director at Inter, that he is willing to leave Milan to compete in the Turkish Superlig. Fener decided to move for the player immediately after the arrival of Geoffrey Kondogbia at Inter, considering that the French midfielder most likely will end up taking playing time away from the Colombian.

Now, according to the report, everything is up to the offer presented to Inter: the bid of 5 million euro given in the first instance was judged not sufficient, because the club of Corso Vittorio Emanuele will ask for at least 8. There is, however, optimism for the success of the negotiation. The alternative to Guaro for Fenerbahçe is another Inter player: Brazilian Hernanes. The priority of Terraneo is Guarin and the former Lazio player would be assessed in the event that the negotiations for Inter’s number 13 were to fall through.
