Marco Materazzi was interviewed by Mediaset Premium and spoke about his Inter and the new signing Kondogbia.
“They have signed a great player”, Materazzi then commented on Podolski’s statement that it was an error coming to Inter from Arsenal without an obligation to buy clause.
“He says that he chose poorly bo coming to Inter? It was probably someone who made the wrong choice by choosing Podolski. Just kidding; he was put in the conditions to do well at Inter, just like at Arsenal and even though he is a great player, he has not been able to show it. Now it seems to me that the times are changing, but at the end as always the pitch will be the judge of that.”
Lastly an opinion on Mancini and the new ambitions of the nerazzurri coach:
“I haven’t spoken to him, but I assume that last year he thought that it would be much easier. It was not easy at all. We all failed, I speak as an Inter fan. Since he is a great coach of international level he wants to show that he can still win at Inter. It is normal that he asks for guarantees. These guarantees are quality players.”
