Now it is official, Zdravko Kuzmanovic is a player of Basel. This was announced a short while ago through the Swiss club’s website which also published a photo of the handshake between the Serbian midfielder and Basel president Bernard Heusler.
Bernard Heusler had this to say about his new signing:
“Even in his past years abroad, we were always in touch. We are getting an experienced player, age helps in football and Kuzmanovic will be of help to a lot of our young players. I’m happy that he is returning and I thank Inter for their help.”
Kuzmanovic had this to say:
“I always wanted to return to Basel and I’m happy that the deal was concluded quickly. I’m motivated and ambitious, I hope to give my contribution to the team.”
Kuzmanovic will meet his team mates tomorrow and will wear the number 22 shirt.

He is the most hated player since his arrival. But for me. Not that bad at all. Maybe i watch from the other perspective. On my list, first two players who should leave this team if we want new caracter are Ranocchia and Juan Jesus. Basta. Than guaro if we can have a new player similar. But jj and rano are our biggest minuses.

Jonathan, Campagnaro and Felipe should all be gone by today if I remember correctly. Contracts expired, but might extended Felipe’s in case we need a cheap backup.
I would actually consider Felipe as a cheap back up,he is not that bad at all.

The way to get rid each one of the dead woods is to make extremely clear to each one of them,starting with ” captain uncourageous” ranocchia .that if they do not accept the proposed transfers and leave they will be completely marginalized and they will almost never get to play,they would be put even behind academy kids in trash time and sometimes not even sit on the bench.
Still ,it will be hard to rid of each one of them.

Couldn’t agree more. Although a lot of us Inter fans blame Ranocchia for the majority of defensive errors, he’s gives it his all every time he’s out there. With Miranda brought in now, It should be harder for Ranocchia to hold his spot down. I’d take a Vidic Miranda partnership over Ranocchia but what I’ve come to notice is, when Ranocchia was removed from the starting line up for a few games, he comes back playing like Cannavaro and then he slumps back to his usual self 3 or 4 games later. Confidence is needed for these guys to preform to the best of their abilities and it will come in time. I’d strip him of the armband that’s for sure but to sell him, maybe not yet. Defenders hit peak at around 30 and I’m sure he’ll come around

At 2 millions+ a year wages..it would be hard to find a team that:
1)
Would take him, even for free,just taking over his contract and pay him that type of high wages, which do not easily fit a mid table serie A team type of wages.

Is he going to accept Trabsponzor in Turkey or Legia Warsav in Poland or something like that,or would he prefer to sit in the bench in Milan?
