La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the competition for Mohamed Salah is getting fierce. Roma has been in the race for quite some time and now Atletico Madrid is entering as well. They see Salah as a substitute for Arda Turan who was just sold to Barcelona. But Chelsea who loaned the player out last season are said to want over 25 million euros to sell him now.

Hopefully Atletico get him and that cools their interest of Shaqiri. I believe Shaqiri will be one of our best players next season.

Very good. Salah is a huge gamble because although he did explode after he joined Fiorentina, he was much quieter once the opposition learned how to defend against him. So he might turn out to be worse than expected and 25 million is a huge sum of money. I hope we keep Shaqiri, sign Perisic and Jovetic (loan with a mandatory purchase after a certain number of performances – which would ensure we only pay money for him if he is not injured). In case Jovetic gets injured, play Icardi,Perisic,Shaqiri,Hernanes and during the January window look for a replacement.
You’re right except for the keep Shaq part. Serie A has already figured his movements out. Perisic icardi palacio and jojo is all we need for an amazing attack. Perisic and jovetic can cover for hernanes if he needs a rest.
Perisic, Jojo and get Guiditti he got a huge potential free agent low salary. I am an Egyptian and yes i would love to see an egyptian in inter shirt but lets be honest 25m is too much to be paid for salah. News says that lyon want the same for lacazette (huge upgrade to salah)

I think Jovetic is a much better player than Cuadrado – IF he could stay fit.
That’s the biggest issue – not saying Jojo is a bad player but his fitness is major no-no if we want to compete for top 3

Also, Jovetic can play anywhere; a winger in 433 (would be his basic role, although it’s not perfect for him), a supporting striker or an attacking midfielder in a 4312 etc.
Shaqiri can’t play as a supporting striker.
But with Jojo, there’s the fitness issue. I’m okay as long as he stays healthy. Hope we’ve paid some good doctors already.
What is the problem between mancini and Shaqiri? I don’t get it.. Mancini is one of the reason we get Shaqiri last season.. According to me Shaqiri didn’t flop already and why mancini desperately try to get ride him.. I feel sorry for Shaqiri.. He is surely good lad and seem willing to fight for inter..
Mancio convinced Shaq to join but Shaq hasn’t done much bar the first 3 games when he arrives. Shaq has talent no doubt. The problem is he has a low football iq. He’s a very fast player with a powerful shot but so far he hasn’t been able to do what has been asked of him: distribute play via passes/crosses or score goals. His crossing has been poor. He does not pick out passes. His shooting has made guaros shooting look like dekis. Fact is Mancio realized Shaq wont do well in serie A: his dribbling relies on pace and you can’t get by on pace alone in serie A. Shaqs movements were figured out after 3 games… don’t wanna start the hate parade but when it comes to the top leagues he’s more of a premiership/bundesliga player. Perisic will be excellent for us. The guy can operate anywhere and he has a high football iq. Jovetic would be excellent as long as he stays fit.

Where did you get the impression that Mancinis is “hell bent on selling Shaqiri”? From what I read I understood that he would like to keep him, but if the sacrifice was needed for economic reasons he would reluctantly need to sell him.
Like Shaqiri can’t play as a supporting striker, same is for Jovetic. He can’t play effectively as a winger, because there’s needed other qualities speed, good one on one play, good cross, etc.

Just curious why Perfer Perisic? I know nothing about him, just go through some highlight, better and more stable than Shaq but seem not outstanding.
