Chinese reporters have not given up on the rumors from past months where Inter seemed interested in Guangzhou Evergrande player and local idol Zheng Linpeng. During the Real Madrid post match press conference Inter coach Roberto Mancini was asked about Linpeng and he did not completely shoot down the chances of seeing the player at Inter:

Sign him less than 1 million in with option to permanent. Just like what we did to Montoya or Podolski. We can expand our fanbase in China, we get the money from Merchandise and shirt sales. We can play him for sub after big win like 2-0 or 3-0 in min 80. But I hope he can compete with other players. If we can do these things, everyone should be happy.
