In an interview with Turkish Portal Milliyet, Hamza Hamzaoglu, coach of Galatasaray, issued important statements about the future of Felipe Melo, the midfielder coveted by Inter: “I’ve said all along, Melo is one of our players. We are happy with him and what he has done for us, he gave his contribution in the league and in the Champions League. He told me that at this time he wants a new challenge, something stimulating, but there is no agreement with Inter. Melo deserves to be happy, but we’ll see what happens.”
The coach also spoke of Lukas Podolski, the striker who arrived in Turkey after spending six disappointing months at Inter: “He’s not 100% yet, but I’m very happy with his arrival. Surely there is still something missing to complete the squad, We are looking for a goalkeeper.”

I’m really sick of those continuous rumors about Melo. This guy doesn’t worth paying even one single euro for him! What about stupid rumors that we can swap Nagatomo for him, that’s insane? We have as a defensive midfielders Medel, Gnokouri and even Kondogbia if it’s needed. At the same time Mancini trying to have Kovacic in regista role in front of the defence and we still have Guarin in the squad. Where’s the point to pressing so hard for Melo?
just some stupid rumour maybe.. the media need attention afterall.. 🙂
I really hope that it just stays as a rumor…
That’s sad, but we’re getting him. Really don’t know why!
Know nothing about him. Just check YouTube .Did he get many red cards every season?
And every single fucking time I see his name and Inter in one line, I ask myself WHY ARE WE GETTING HIM?!
Yes! No to Melo!
