With just under two weeks left until serie a kick off the SportMediaset editorial staff took a lokk at the up and down of each team in the serie a. Here us what they wrote about Inter.
Up: Started fast in the transfer market to give Mancini the best opportunity to work. The pairing Icardi-Jovetic is very, very promising.
Down: Kondogbia is still not in shape and is yet to take control of the team while the defense still seems to commit the same mistakes. There is still doubts on where to play Kovacic who has been tried as a deep lying midfielder.
What is needed: First of all sales. To complete the squad that Mancini wants Inter need to sell at least five players. Then they can think about a left fullback, a midfielder with personality and an eventual winger. But without sales the transfers are not going to happen.

Inter has to sell Vidic, Juan Jesus, Andreolli, Dodo, Ambrosio, Taider, Schelotto, Guarin, Nagatomo, Palacio, and Shaqiri.
And buy a “black” striker/ an African striker.

We can try to buy Erick Aubameyang, Jordan Ayew or Kevin Prince Boateng.
I think our midfield will look a lot different once Kondo, Kova, Hernanes and Medel start to link-up a little better. They’re all tremendous passers. Kondo and Medel can contain and boost the defense while Kova and Hernanes can build the attacks. We should really give them some time to adjust. The defense is good as it is. The team we have now is ready to compete for the CL spots. If we also get Perisic, then it’ll be complete and we’d have absolutely no excuses this time. In any case I’m very hopeful for this season.

yep and burdisso wasn’t bad, burdisso also played at RB to cover and was dangerous in attack. Good ol Nicolas was a silent warrior, even had his nose broken in that infamous valencia game.

yes.. coutinho has come a long way since his move.. but don’t underestimate Hernanes even though he is older…
i don’t want to underestimate hernanes’s skill but until now, he hasn’t prove anything yet, he doesn’t show our 20 mil was worth every penny
let’s be real.. who has proved anything during the last two years.. we see only some glimpse of what some players can do.. but no one has impressed.. even Icardi.. I absolutely believe that we have huge talents in our team.. but we need to fill the gaps in the formation to allow them to play more consistantly

More like don’t blame Aus for whatever Branca did. Aus did a lot better job at steering transfer policy now, i sincerely hope we won’t see anyone (in the future) as talented as Cou leaving for cheap.

brazil would of won the copa america if hernanes was there, if you watch them play you would see that they misses hernanes ability
Cou’s playstyle suited best in epl, in serie-a he won’t be as good as he is in Pool..
Kondogbia not being fit enough yet is no big deal, he’ll reach the rhythm sooner or later.
And the defense can’t be spoken of because in most games we had at least one idiot starting in defense; Murillo + Miranda looked very much in control against Bilbao, and it’s their first game together.
Let’s not panic, it can be a good season. Seeing as how Shaqiri is leaving soon that should unlock Perisic or Perotti (hopefully the first one if you ask me) – after which the team will look a lot better as we will be able to play 433 more often. Then it will be trying to sell Nagatomo and co. and get a decent left back at least.
If Perotti coming instead Shaq that will be dissaster…

Perotti is good. Can play with both feet and can take on his man and pick out a pass. He can also score as he decided genoas last game. The guy is like valdivia of chile. He is very underrated.
I can say 9 players i would see leave(Shaqiri we kind of have to sell the way we have handled it):
Vidic, Ranocchia, Dodo, Ambrosio, Taider, Schelotto, Guarin, Nagatomo and Shaqiri.
I do not see a big problem with the depth of the squad in the defense and midfield if we sold these players considering we do not play in europe. Our starting lineup would be:

i wouldn’t call it a bad transfer but I think it would have been wiser to get vrsaljko or bruno peres for that money. Montoya has the potential to improve andhe’s a La Masia product but currently his game is weaker than naga/santon. He has to get into form before we can pass our final judgement as to whether it’s a good/bad transfer.
Better than Santon and Nagatomo, so unless we get a new RB, he is.

Of course he have to adapt a bit more, but it is preseason and he have time. But i think from what i have seen, he is the better choice for the style Mancini wants to play with fullbacks so involved in the passing

I would rather get rid of juan instead of rano. the rest for me coulg go. so you pretty much hit all the spots. And vidic is stuck because of his injury.
