I get your point, but what you see as Kova’s weakness, I see that as his strength. He’s such a talent, that no matter what formation, the coach has to find him a space to play.
kovacic main weakness is keeping possession in a very possession heavy system like mancini’s. and also his footballing IQ (knowing where to be positionaly and knowing when to pass or shoot)
Kova is very young. He has a high Footballing IQ unlike JJ. Just look at his through passes. He just needs experience. I’d rather see him as trequista rather than the slow and old HERNANES!
regardless 35m is a great deal by ausilio. it was our time to sell him.

Is it so hard for everyone to accept the fact that a player who still doesn’t have his position on the field after 2 years is getting sold. He is a super talent, okay, I understand. But how is he going to make a difference when he can’t even settle in one formation. Can’t read opponents, therefore not a defensive mid material and when he is in a more attacking position he fades out completely. We can acquire 2 or 3 quality, consistent players with his sale and yet everyone flips out. Inter needs results now, we can wait no longer and I am an Inter fan not a Kovacic fan. I see reason in this move. Now it’s up to the management to find worthy reinforcements.

I agree i like kovacic a lot but dont forget that we all liked ibra too we sold him and we build one of the greatest teams in the world(And truth be told ibra was all inter ,kova wasn’t) .The thing is we must spend all that money we got from kova and shaq on the team !!

The only position that he has been useful in it, was CM. He was bad as CAM, awful as winger -compare with Iniesta if u will- and worst as DM.
He doesn’t fit anywhere and he was also a sole reason why Mancini never played 4-2-3-1 so far. We can only speculate the formation we will be using this season until all the signings are done.
you forget to mention he was only getting better, meaning we could of used him and sell him in a couple of years for way more than 35
I’d prefer getting new players for the team now and aim high in the table. Kovacic is extremely inconsistent; His value could rise but it could also plummet if he underperforms.

De Bruyne rejected Serie A entirely and if Isco is sold, Juve are going to get him. Which makes selling Kovacic to madrid even worse because that will make the Isco deal to RuBe easier.
