Actually, Mazzarri is a decent coach but a so-so manager. His stats with Inter were quite ok at that time, especially when we trashed Sassuolo 7-0 twice. However, I just can’t forgive what he did to our JZ4 at the end of his career. He acted very disrespectful to the man who served blue-black shirt for years with his heart.

eh Kova was never and AMF, not for his NT and not for us, and not for Zagreb. He was always a CM, we tried to make him into a AMF and it didn’t work.
He really has the skillset to be a CM, he just needs to show character and play with more grit. He’s soft.
He arguably played his best under Strama as a deep lying CM that would dribble out of our half… he also caused quite a few heart attacks almost losing the ball.
Honestly it’s look much better so far. You gotta remember that when he showed up he wasn’t taking charge of a 4-4-2 squad but a 3-5-2 one. It’s not like Allegri who had the old formation to fall back on then slowly introduce 4-4-2. Now we finally have a decent roster to play 4-4-2, he had to change systems because the old one wasn’t working… plus 3-5-2 is such a loser formation, it’s really a 5-3-2… it’s a Reggina/Messina formation.
We have a nice balanced midfield witht the introduction of Gnou, Broz, K-dog since Mancini arrived and he rejuvenated Guaro/Hernanes to add to the solid/sterile Medel. As for attack we did get a jewel in Jovetic who is a class above Shaqiri/Podolski. Naga is finally back to his old self. The introduction of Manaj is interesting, he’s quick and has a good frame. Miranda and Murillo shored up our leaky defense, we all know to win you need to be solid at the back.. the foundation of a winning team. The game is then won in midfield… not bad if you ask me, just give them time to gel.
If you remember under Walter the team seemed deflated and weren’t acting like Inter players… whereas Mancio is quick to start kicking peoples asses if they are not paying attention. I wish Mazzari would have been harsher discipline wise… but I did think he Napoli was a joy to watch. I think for Mazzari he came at the wrong time and did not have guys like Cavani, Hamsik, Lavezzi and Inler.
He tried to turn Kova into a Hamsik but that failed… Jonathan was no Zuniga….
