Bad news for the serie a clubs regarding the shirt sponsor values, in the 2015/16 season after just one game played the total value of the jersey sponsorships in serie a is just above 85 million euros. More or less at the same level it was in 2012/13 (84,9 million). The numbers come from the Sporteconomy Jersey Sponsor Index report which also points out that six of 20 teams are lacking sponsors. Among these are Lazio and Roma. What is the most surprising though is the fact that among Juventus, Milan, Inter and Napoli there is a new club with a big sponsorship; Sassuolo. The new Mapei deal guarantees them 15 millioni euros per season, which sees them ahead of Inter who get 13 million from Pirelli.

Well this is just misleading and stupid. The 15 milion is probably the combination of the shirt and the stadium naming rights.

I’m quite surprised that most interista forgot about our other sponsorship “Driver”.. I would assume “driver” which is on the away shirt plus “Pirelli” on the home shirt would definitely equate higher then sassulo. If I’m not mistaken inter is the only club that does this in serie A

We have already known for about a year now that Milan will build a new stadium and that we will stay at the Meazza, which will be renovated.
yeah I heard about that, but as far as I know, we haven’t really get confirmation detail about it. when exactly it gonna started to happen, and how the ownership of GM would change from city of milan to our hand, etc

Yeah Pirelli is is playing less, we should at least get the same amount as Milan or Juve. What more schocking is Pirelli is also shareholders (2-3%) of inter. So part of it they will earn back from the revenues of Inter.
What revenues? you forgot that from from 20 years we didn’t have profit. Right now nobody from Inter owners don’t make money. Hope that will change in time:)

i just heard during the Belgian GP that ever since Pirelli came back to F1, their yearly revenue increased by ~a billion(!) euros… of course results are important but it seems like Italian teams are not attractive at all

As much as I want more money from Pirelli, I’m actually opposing the idea of having gambling companies name printed in our jersey. It should be our last resort.

How is that even possible? I don’t believe that there are no companies who would sponsor Roma or Lazio. Mapei is really putting in a lot for Sassuolo, first the stadium then this. I don’t even understand why. And Pirelli is the best we have at the moment but if opportunity shows up we should ditch them and get something better immediately.

Some of the biggest companies in the world according to Forbes are Chinese, but also on that list we have Deutsche Bank which is one of our current sponsors and perhaps they would like to increase their presence with Inter.

Yup Astra Group,they have bussiness in automotive, insurance, heavy equipment, coal mining, power plant, transportation, and many more. ET father is one of big boss of Astra Group, he must be able to make sponsorship,Indonesia with +200mil population is the good market.
I would still I think rather prefer a company or it’s owners to also be involved with ownership in the club, as from what we can see from Pirelli they probably once were paying a number which clubs with the same status as Inter were paid. But now they are not paying as much as I would like them to have paid, as Inter is their best and far most visible source for their marketing plans every year.
It could also be some country. Like how Azerbaijan were Atletico Madrid’s kit sponsors, and Malaysia practically sponsored Sevilla with that Visit Malaysia thing………
