“Brozovic was supposed to play behind the strikers, we were looking for combinations that would lead to us getting through their defensive lines. But we did not do it well. I do not want to comment on individual player performances, everybody need to ask themselves how they have played.”

Anyone who thinks brozovic deserves a place and is more valuable to the team than guaro, in my books, is deluded. So what he runs a lot, that’s what gargano did but look how that ended up…guaro offers much much more

Yeah, or maybe RM called Kovac to convinced him to try Brozo as trequartista. Brozo is a hardworking and very eager midfield, but he just didnt have the technique and the vision..he’s a very good and a valuable team player, but please dont put him in a posistion that he isnt capable of naturally.
When he first came and played for us, i remember how happy we were cause it seems like finally we have ‘midfield’, someone that not just run and tackle (medel) and not just bursting through opponent defense but shoots sky high in the end, or a brilliant but far too soft and fragile youngster, finally we have a smart, tireless and brave (reckles on some ocassion) but offer dynamism in our midfield, lets just play him on that position, but now he’ll come after Kondog-Melo and Medel.
