The UK based paper Mirror writes about a strong Arsenal interest in Mauro Icardi. According to their online version the London club will make a bid for the newly appointed Inter captain in January.
Arsenal were interested in Karim Benzema and Edinson Cavani in summer but Wenger refused to pay the requested 50£ million from the clubs. Icardi would according to the Mirror be a cheaper option, have resale value and thus be a betterrospect than the other two.
