Piero Ausilio spoke to Mediaset Premium before the derby win and here is what he had to say about the season so far.

“We want the three points. We have begun well with two wins and we need to continue like this. We want to use these games to grow.”

He was then asked about Ranocchia who has lost not only the captain’s armband but also his place in the starting eleven, even with Miranda injured:

“Ranocchia rejected? It is not about rejecting, if Medel plays there that just means the coach has several players to choose from and that he has made some choices during the week.”

Mancini spoke about Balotelli as an Inter target.

“Mancini joked a bit about that. We care about Mario, we were the ones that launched his senior career and we are happy that he has found a new team. But his time at Inter ended a few years back, we have never contacted him.”

Lastly a comment on Juventus’ bad start.

“All teams are still under construction and nothing is defined yet. It is not easy to insert nine new players like Inter. We want to continue on our way, the one we began on during the new year.”
