Rodrigo Palacio could be leaving Inter between January and June, since his contract expires. As Tuttosport writes, Inter are looking at several alternatives to substitute him. The main focus right now is on talented players with expoiring contracts in 2016 (money will be invested in redemption of Telles and Jovetic). According to Tuttsport Inter are following André Carillo closely, the Peruvian currently plays for Sporting Lissabon.

“He arrived in Europe the summer of 2011, Carillo has grown season by season showing that he is one of the best in the Portuguese league. He has inherited the role that used to belong to Quaresma, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani. Between 2011 and 2015 his performance has always improved. In 2014-15 he played 46 games in the league and cups scoring 7 goals and assisting to 18. Inter have been down to watch him on several occasions and they like what they see. He plays as a winger in a 4-3-3 but can also play in a 4-2-3-1 which are the systems that Mancini has in mind. Carillo’s contract expires in 11 months and so far any attempt to find a solution for a new deal have been fruitless. Valencia and Leicester are also eyeing the winger, Leicester were close to signing him in August. So if Inter want him they have no time to waste, but at the moment there are no concrete contacts between the club and the player.”
