The future of Andrea Ranocchia remains uncertain at Inter. The central defender and ex Inter captain has been surpassed by Medel in the defense hierarchy of Mancini, and could be thinking about a move in January. There were offers for him in summer, but Ranocchia decided to stay and fight for a spot at Inter. But instead of convincing coach Mancini about playing him more it seems that he has dropped in the internal ranking of the defenders.
Acording to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma was one of the teams interested in summer. Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini thought about Ranocchia as an interesting profile to strengthen Rudi Garcia’s defensive line up. A deal was never found in summer and the question is if Ranocchia will end up there or in another team in January?
