Do you think that you can become the best South American striker?
“There are many in South America, I do what I have to do and I am pleased with last season and for this award. Becoming the best South American striker is very difficult, especially in Argentina there are better ones.”
Do you envy other strikers anything?
“Envy no, it is not in my character. But I do envy Lewandowski the fact that he scored five goals in ten minutes.”
Who do you admire the most?
“I am Argentinian and the one I admire the most is the best player in the world. Leo Messi.”
Can you aim for the Ballon d’Or?
“That is a price that as long as they (Messi and Ronaldo) play football they will be the prime candidates for it.”
