Marco Borriello and Carpi are not going through happy times. According to la Gazzetta di Modena, even though the new sporting director Giancarlo Romairone denied any rumors of a rift, voices about Borriello leaving in January are persistent. Yesterday Borriello did not train with the team and this did nothing to slow down the rumor mill about him not being happy at Carpi. There have been rumors about him to Inter as a back-up for Icardi, but there are also options in the US and Chievo are said to be interested should they lose Paloschi.

Eh he’s still pretty lethal in the box. He would be a good vice Icardi. His trademark overhead kick Is good and he is pretty gifted. He would be cheap. Either him or dénis as vice Icardi would be good but dénis only performs consistently well when he is a starter.
Palos chi would be too expensive as a back up.
10 years ago; maybe. Today; NO!

Im actually suprised no big team has gone after Paloschi yet. Him and berardi and sansone are pretty good i’d take either of them

Tohir, Ausilio: Repeat after me:
WE DON’T NEED DEADWOOD.

amen! if anything we could help Borriello get to chievo by taking Paloschi ourselves!
