Alessandro Pellegrini, agent of Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri spoke to Radio Crc and commented on yesterday’s game between Napoli and Inter.
“Yesterday Inter felt like even though they played their best game of the season this Napoli cannot be beat. During this week Mancini will try to get a message through to the team that they did well even though they lost. For us this was a dinner for a leader and we surely digested it better than Mancini. I have the feeling that Inter thought Napoli was the best team and besides the last half hour they received a football lesson at the San Paolo. Two players made the difference yesterday; Higuain and Reina. I don’t want to diminish the rest of the team, but in a situation where Napoli and Inter were balanced the top players made the difference. Inter also have Handanovic, had he not made that save the game would probably have finished differently.”

Did he watch the same game as I did? Higuain played like a beast that much I will give them. But his merits were his own individual efforts, not because of some magic coaching by Sarri. So it was definitely NOT what I would call a football lesson. All in all, the fair result would have been a draw. Not trying to take the credit away from Napoli, but such an arrogant statement about “football lesson” says more about the moron making the statement than the game itself..
You kidding? No lesson. Inter was simple unlucky. With 11 men we’d win for sure.
Ironically, the so called agent did what Mancini did, he convinced his team that they are the better team. World sometimes is a stranger place to live in.
Of course we have learn so much, last time Nagatomo got espulso we were raped by the then relegated Cagliari in Meazza!
I can never forget that match! Son of a bitch got two yellows in 2 minutes!!!
I definitely can’t forget that match either cuz it brought tears (of hysterical laughter) to my eyes 🙂
I wondering what would he say if Jojo’s / Miranda’s header didn’t hit the woodwork…
He would say “Inter was lucky, napoli was unlucky”
If Jovetic and Mirenda were score in the last final mins, they wouldn’t say that and I want to say that wasn’t a RED CARD! We will wait for you at our home filed. FORZA INTER
he may say what he want to. winner with no pride have the right to bluff. winner with dignity and pride will keep walking on without any gibberish and rubbish talk about the loser. this interview showed the difference too damn well.
Well said
Despite every single good thing we miraculously made during napoli game even after the nagasaki incident (yes i deliberately said that, i don’t want to say the name of the player anymore), i just want to say we are still very far from reaching European level of playing. I hope we’ll be able to leap forward this last 6 months of the season, and beat the living shit of napoli at Meazza.
“…besides the last half hour they received a football lesson at the San Paolo.” — Eehh that’s like 1/3 of the game he wants us NOT to notice and even then most important part of any game too! What a jerk!
Yeah, we’ve learned so many lessons from refs in all these years.
i agree. it’s still a bitter loss because of the last mins.
We’ll be waiting for you at the San Siro, smart ass. Bring and extra pair of pants.
ahaha got that right.. i can’t wait for them to suffer the same fate as roma did
Napoli’s Football Lesson:
Shit your pants against a man down team, when you are 2 goals up…
Napoli Lesson part 2:
Worship the woodwork and be grateful to referees… dive whenever possible
Lesson # 3……no need to move Pepe Reina it’s going to hit the post anyways !!
Lesson of football from Napoli? You’re joking, right? If Mancini didn’t gave a chance Nagashit, then Napoli would fight for a draw. Really hope that was the last match of him in Inter shirt.
Amen!
Amen.
Totally agree.
We used different gameplay, but we should also able to pass around the ball and get out of any preassure without throwing long balls so that in we loss the again and again. Ljajic, Brozo, Kondog and Melo have the ability, let them grown in this team and be the point of reference to defender to give the ball to.
Hey, Nagatomo is an icon of inter soccer ! don’t be dissin the branca pickups !!
