Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Inter Channel following the 1-0 home win over Genoa:
“We should have been out of sight by half time. We played very well, attacking and pressing them, taking them on in one-versus-one situations like the coach asked. We need to be more clinical in front of goal, otherwise we could give ourselves a problem. Perin is a top goalkeeper and he made a great save from Ljajic but their job is to keep the ball out.”
Miranda and Murillo are proving to be two of the season’s best signings: “We started with the defence and discussed which signings to make with the manager. We actually tried to bring Murillo to the club back in January. Everyone now knows all about him, whereas Miranda needs no introduction. It’s hard to find the words to do him justice.”
