According to TyCSports journalist Esteban Edul in Argentina Inter have beaten Chelsea in the race to sign Jonathan Calleri. Inter had first made an offer of 10 million euros, but when Chelsea got involved the nerazzurri managed to close a deal with Boca Juniors for 12 million. The Boca Juniors directors are said to be happy with the fee and are ready to accept.

If Calleri leaves then Boca will replace him with Pablo Daniel Osvaldo. It is not just the journalist Edul that says Inter are very close to the striker, Boca vice president Royco Ferrari writes to aRadio ESPN FC; “There is a serious offer for Calleri.  But we will try to keep him to be able to compete for the victory in the Copa Libertadores.”
