Federico Dimarco

The near future is yet to be written for Federico Dimarco, the left back, born 1997, is under contract with Inter until June 2018. Dimarco, who regularly trains with the senior squad but usually starts for Mr Vecchi’s Primavera side, with which, until now, has made 8 appearances, scoring 3 goals and making 2 assists, in both the league and the Coppa Italia, but has yet to debut in the nerazzurri shirt.

An explanation was given directly by Dimarco in an interview given a few weeks ago to Sportitalia on the sidelines of a match played with the Inter Primavera: “I am available for the first squad and the Primavera, and i’m a player of Inter. It’s difficult to play in the first squad, especially now that they are doing so well. With Mancini last year I worked harder than I would have liked as there were different rhythms, but now I’ve grown used to it”.

The situation at the moment however is on stand by according to FcInterNews.it: Federico is available for Mancini and for Vecchi and his future could be decided in January, after a meeting with inter and his entourage, to consider any offers. He could, therefore, leave on loan, if a club needs a player in that particular role, or he could even finish the season continuing to shuffle between the Primavera and the first team, waiting to play among the big names.
