icardi

Rumors about Mauro Icardi leaving Inter have not stopped, saying he is tempted by offers from Premier League clubs. Manchester City and Arsenal are said to be the main ones interested, both teams are looking to strengthen their strike power for the next Champions League phase. Sources tell FcInterNews.it that Icardi however is not taking a January move into consideration.

The striker thinks it would be foolish to leave Inter in this transfer window seeing how the team is doing and also taking into account how his bond is with the club. But in the summer transfer window decisions will be based on how the team does, should the nerazzurri reach the Champions League then the player has no will to leave the club. Should the team not qualify however ten the situation could change. In other words, there is no way of knowing anything right now; Icardi is focused on staying at Inter.

One thing is sure though, Icardi’s future has nithing to do with Jonathan Calleri. The young Boca Juniors striker if he does arrive will first go to another Italian club to show his worth and if he is convincing will then join Inter in summer. Calleri and Icardi could very well both stay at Inter, one does not exclude the other.
