Javier Zanetti was interviewed by ESPN in Argentina due to the inauguration of Inter Club Argentina dedicated to him in the barrio of Belgrano. The Inter vice-president was asked about Jonathan Calleri:
“He is a great player, but at the moment there is no negotiation with Inter.”
Zanetti also commented on current Inter captain Mauro Icardi;
“He is young and he always tries to be the point of reference the team needs.”
