Andrea Ranocchia keeps attracting more interested clubs. While interest from Bologna and Norwich have been known for quite some time, in the last hours Liverpool have also set their eyes on the former Inter captain. At the moment it is just an idea, no official offers have been made. Rumors have it that the first choice for the Reds is Neven Subotic who Klopp knows since his days at Dortmund. But Ranocchia was a target for Klopp when he was at Dortmund as well and considering the injuries at Liverpool in defense, Klopp and Liverpool might make an offer.
Ranocchia on the other hand would prefer staying in Italy. Contacts with Bologna are ongoing but the player’s wages are a hindrance (Ranocchia makes 2,4 million euros net per season). His former coach Ventura at Torino are also keeping their eyes on him, should Napoli make a serious bid for Maksimovic.
