Ivan Perisic who assisted Mauro Icardi to the match winning goal spoke to Inter Channel after the game:
“All we wanted was to leave the game with the three points. We created few chances but we did good to capitalize on them. We do need to improve on our playing though. My assist? It was a nice set up, I finally came up against my adversary the right way and when these situations come up I always tell Mauro to go for the first post because the ball will go there. We played really bad against Lazio, we need to bounce back and we did.”

Some may not like him but I think that Mancini asks him to play a different role here than at WB .. To do a lot more defending. Perisic back tracks alot.
If you watch away from the action his off the ball movements are very good. As with most of Mancini’s players it’s not about being the best but playing the smartest.
Perisic is not that bad but I don’t like him, he has only 1 dribble skill that he showed us again just before the pass to Icardi-
Too predictable in my opinion, our team spent a lot of money on him but it’s like we could have a better player but at the end we are winning 1-0…. so well if we reach CL i’ll forget his lack of creativity-
