As expected, Inter will be looking to add reinforcements in this mercato to strengthen their Scudetto credentials. Inter also have a fine of 7 million euros that was imposed by UEFA because of the Nerazzurri’s ‘breach’ Financial Fair play. This current scenario will force Piero Ausilio to find a player who is deemed ‘low cost.’

PSG fullback Gregory van der Wiel is known to have attracted interest from Roberto Mancini’s side. Due to competition with Serge Aurier for a starting place, the Dutchman could leave Paris. According to FcInterNews, the player is edging closer and closer to leaving PSG.

Inter want the player for free, but PSG want to keep hold of the player despite the fact that his contract will expire this summer. The French club want 7-8 million euros, while their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi would accept and offer of 3 million euros.  These factors suggest that a deal will not be easy to acheive. Right now Inter are trying to convince PSG to let the player leave for little to no cost.
