Although Inter are not keen on giving him to a rival, AC Milan continue to show interest in defender Andrea Ranocchia, FCInterNews have learned. The Nerazzurri prefer Ranocchia to go to Torino, Sassuolo or Sampdoria if he is to stay in Italy or abroad where Liverpool are still in the race. Liverpool offered €9 million for Ranocchia this past week, a sum which Milan can’t afford in January but rather in June. So the negotiations with Milan would be centred on a loan deal with an option to but at the end of the season.
Despite the player being positive to a move to Milan, the fact that the Rossoneri can’t pay now makes the deal rather unlikely. Mihajlovic has wanted to pair up Ranocchia with Romagnoli for quite some time but Inter have shown the cold shoulder preferring other options such as Sampdoria who are in pole position to sign the player.
