sounds like a great deal. besides M&M, we have a make shift CB (medel) and a terrible defender (juan jesus). we can’t compete for a top 3 place if these are our subs.
No thanks. We’ve 4 CB if we consider Medel. It will be sufficient from now till the end of the season. We can look again in the market in the summer if we get UCL. Don’t forget Andreolli is still on loan.
medel is a make shift defender while juan isn’t a good defender. what happens if murillo and Miranda get injured? we will be basically fucked. we need depth in the defense.
Look, I’m all for signing reinforcements. But do you really think de Maio is better than Medel and JJ? That’s a rhetorical question btw. If we can afford sign a quality back up, I don’t mind at all. On top of that, you’re setting a scenario that is just frightening and unrealistic. It’s like saying if Barca lose MSN to injury at the same time. Let’s face it any teams would be fucked if they lose their best players, let alone us who’s struggling to even afford to sign first team players. My point is, spending 5 mil on a useless player is plain illogical, when we should save every dime to invest in a quality reinforcement like a better RB.
how do you know he’s not better than medel and juan? were spending 1m for what I’ve heard is a very capable defender. it’s not unrealistic because it happened this season. we’ve seen that neither medel nor juan were good when given the opportunity. medel is our first choice DM. and juan is our 2nd choice leftback. we just lost two centerbacks in ranocchia and vidic. rest assure we will get a replacement. this should be a higher priority than the RB role. while midfielder is badly needed.

Because I watch Serie A? His positioning is horrible. He’s not fast enough to cover that deficiency. He’s terrible basically. If we need Medel to be in CB, he will be. We’ve enough DM anyway. De Maio is worse than Ranocchia. That’s pretty obvious.

i have no idea but again 1m is a bargin for a loan. mancini never rotates the two centerbacks . so we need depth in the dfense. we shouldn’t rely on juan, medel because they also have position to occupy. regardless this is a non issue. we need a midfielder above all things
