José Mourinho returns to the Meazza and he asks for João Miranda. At least according to Tuttosport who see his visit to the Sampdoria game mainly as one related to the transfer market. The paper writes that he is looking to strenghten the Manchester United defense and he wants Miranda.

“Miranda is an Inter player, 4 million for the loan, 11 for making the move permanent. He has a contract until 2018 and will earn 2,7 million euros net per season (3 with bonuses). There is a double problem though. Miranda after a season out of Europe would like to return to play there, preferably in the Champions League. This is something that neither Inter nor Manchester United can guarantee. United are currently fifth in the league, six points after City. It is obvious though that at the same conditions Unites could have an interesting edge. Here enters the second factor, Miranda’s agent is Jorge Mendes. The same agent that Mourinho has.Mendes will obviosuly try to do what is best for his coach to help him succeed at Manchester and Miranda could be the winning piece.”

According to Tuttosport Inter could be obbliged to let Miranda go if they don’t qualify for the Champions League. The Brazilian who would cost 15 million in total could leave for 25 million euros. The alternative for Mou is said to be Jeison Murillo who Inter would be ready to sell for an offer around 30 million euros. But at the moment these are all speculations, especially since Mourinho is still without a club.
