Inter out to beat Palermo and not lose more ground to the third spot. Roberto Mancini’s men need a win in the league after the performance against Juventus in the Coppa Italia. Samir Handanovic is not available for this game due to a flu, Carrizo will take his place tonight.
INTER 4-2-3-1:
Carrizo – D’Ambrosio, Miranda, Murillo, Nagatomo – Medel, Kondogbia – Perisic, Palacio, Ljajic – Icardi.
Coach Mancini.

Have you guys noticed that we won both matches with 3 goals with carrizio in goal?
I am really praying that Rube will lose against Bayern and drop their dreams of matching our tripleta.
You don’t need to pray, only miracle can make rube qualify to the next round
Just why the fuck couldnt we play like this after Christmas. Shit and double shit. I dont want to see Rube winning the league again.
after a very long time in serie a, we played FOOTBALL. yes, Palermo was a partner in that, but it was finally good to watch an Inter game. if only we played like this just 2-3 more times this season, CL wouldnt be a dream, rather a reality, and our fate wouldnt be in the hands of Roma, Milan, Fiorentina or Napoli
Thohir is far too long to get Inter up to top grade. I need to see Rube off the top perch. Hope at least Napoli wins Serie A.
Kondogbia has been impressive tonight, hope he keeps this form we all expect a lot from him but im sure he can deliver..
well not that much, he losses to many balls, most likely a better opponent could’ve score given his mistakes tonight- but well let’s give him the rest of the season to prove me wrong – cause I expect way more for those 40MM!
We were really good in offense this game. Lots of chances, all of our offensive players were involved in goals, good synergy. Really nice overall. Little too much exposed in defense for my liking, which also cost us a goal. Kondogbia and Medel don’t work that fine as 2 DMs in 4-2-3-1. I think now that our attackers are coming to form, we should play 4-3-3 for more stability and will still be able to score.
we would lose Ljajic parking him on the wing in a 4-3-3… he needs to be allowed to roam
He was on the wing mostly today though. Not as much as 4-3-3 but still, Palacio was in the middle tonight. I’d still say 4-3-3 with Ljajić – Icardi – Perišić is our best bet, Jovetić/Palacio/Eder/Biabiany all good subs. Even with different setup it would be okay, but 4-2-3-1 isn’t working out that great for us, we are way too exposed.
well Pala was on the wing, but roamed a lot; true… But beating Juve 3-0 and Palermo 3-1 with that frmation is a prove IT IS wokring
We played 4-3-3 vs Juventus.
great game -keep it up lads!!
decent game, FORZA INTER!! is it bologna away or home?
home! good game forza Inter!
when is it?
next Saturday at the same time of today’s game- guys you can use google sometimes 🙂
Such a nice connection between Biabiany and Perisic. It’s been so long since i’ve seen real crossing, I’ve forgotten how it felt.
Ask Nagatomo. Oh, wait..
Damn, almost 4th goal.
I will take 1-0 wins like we were doing before
Next 2 games are hard and curcial games, we have to win both of them if we want that CL spot.
what are the next games?
Bologna and Roma
first one ok. WE need to beat roma. do we play napoli again? i think we got rid of most difficult teams
Roma, Napoli, Sassuolo and Lazio are the hardest games left
if we beat roma and napoli we will get 3rd
Murillo can be a new Lucio if he keeps going like this.
Wanted to see Gnou
mello..
About time for a red card
medel need some rest though..^^
Fine save…
good carrizo..^^
wow Carizzo!
Bad finish but still good save by Carrizo.
How’s K-dog doing?
still bad, seems out of position sometimes, he lost the ball again…. like ten times today!
Lol dammit, I badly want him to go beast mode, but alas…
lossed a lot of balls today, also intercepted a lot of em too. still young nd incosistent as always. Couple nice flashes of pretty footwork though
I think he is doing decently with bad moments. 4-2-3-1 really leaves him exposed causing him to lose some balls or fail to position. He usually does better in a 3 man midfield.
Which is weird right? Correct me if I’m wrong, but was he not in a double pivot when he was playing like a monster for Monaco.
I didn’t follow Monaco much so I can’t speak about him there, but I guess a 3-man midfield gives him more fallback if he loses the ball and he can play more freely, offering him to shine more.
any chance of us getting 3rd spot?
are you one of us?
no i am two of you. I am 56 years old and supporting since life
will be very dificualt…. Roma is just too strong at the moment I think,,, but even 4th would be an improvement to the last 4 years!
no dude we have to get into ucl or bust
ehhh no… not really…. 4th now and 3th next year will do…
No 3rd this year minimum
minimum?? are you sick?
why i should be you fucking casper? I want Inter to be 3rd at least. It has been too long.
You have to crawl before you walk..
you are talking about inter not sassulo
Napoli, Roma, Juve, Fiorentina all have the same squad of players as the last 3-4 years where as we have gotten in 9-10 new players; it takes time
No it doesnt have to take time. Rube has new players, most teams have new players. STop making excuses. I am pretty sure inter will finish 3rd if we can beat roma
no one brought in 9 new players except us (us meaning Inter btw….) Hey; how was Serie B?
Shut up casper I am not Rubentini
sure as hell sounds like one
what? Roma, Napoli brought almost a new starting 11 in the past 1-2 years, Fiorentina has signed a lot aswell and Juve had to fill the gap of Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo
everything out of CL is a failure but the biggest one was appointing mr. x
Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina have all been building for the last 3-4 years and going I the same direction all the time; all of their coaches have played the same system (more or less)4-3-3 and the new people on the benches haven’t changed that. At Roma this way of playing was started by Luis Enrique and continued by the Frenchman Garcia and now Spaletti finds it quite easy to continue playing his own 4-3-3 system. The same goes for Fiorentina where Montella created a great attacking minded 4-3-3 system continued by Sousa and and Napoli Benitez bought in all the players Sarri is playing today – he too played 4-3-3 but it was a very stiff controlling system whereas Sarri has “set the players free” in his own 4-3-3 version of the system.
At Inter we just change coach and do not think about the system the old coach had or the new one brings – just look at Stramma 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 contra 3-5-2 Mazzari back to 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 Mancini. We do not have a greater plan for the club but just sack whoever doesn’t work.
We need patience and need to leave Mancini create the team and stile of play he wants!
how the fuck did we fall so behind
since no one cares about EL, that is definetly not an improvement. it looks better on paper, but shit is shit, no matter what you call it
EL provides UCL the year after – if you will it… and finishing 4th when you have finished 6th, 5th and 9th is quite an improvement…
man you gotta win it first
I know – but as Zselic said; no one cares for it…
do we get CL money for 4th place? does it help us keep our best players from being sold?
the new sponsor and Partner Thohir is hunting will!
Good will hunting
All he seems to be doing BTW hunting money world wide having dinner with whom ever that has a big wollet…
FFP doesnt work like that. we need income to cover our expenses. and at a big spending club like us, only CL can help with that (and an own stadium)
no not really – a sponsor is allowed to inject the money he wnts to into a project he cares for – just ask PSG or Shity
then Thohir could have put in a billion. Why didnt he?
yes, they are allowed, but City or PSG generate that much profit. we dont
Good subs by Mancini so far IMO. Biabiany will be great for running past by their defense if a counter-attack comes.
Mancini and good subs. I still have to get used with these words in one sentence.
I know right haha
it is a very strange sensation, just like reading “Brozovic” and “Bayern Munich” in the same sentence 😀
