Felipe Melo made a statement on his Facebook page today due to rumors about him having said that he was ready to return to Galatasaray should Inter ask him to leave.
“In the last few days a lot of untrue news about me come out. Like the false one that came out today, according to which I would return to Galatasaray. I love Galatasaray where I won a lot and maybe one day I will return to Istanbul. But not now: today for me there is only Inter. I am a man who respects his word and his principles: I chose Inter because I wanted Inter and not any other team. I’m happy in Milan and my family is happily settled as well. I signed a contract of three years that allow me to join this project of which I feel protagonist. A leader is always a protagonist, whether you play or not play. And I feel a leader. We come from positive results and we have to stay focused to continue on this path.
