Ivan Perisic is in the zone, scoring and showing why Inter chased him for so long. La Gazzetta dello Sport write about the former Wolfsburg player and what could happen in summer.
”Obviously, should Inter miss the Champions League at the end of this season Inter could be forced to listen to what the Croatian international wants to do.”
What is certain though is that Inter do not want to let the player go, but should European big clubs get in touch after the European Championships Inter are willing to listen only for offers above 25 million euros.

Great plan. Let’s for once give a player a chance to prove himself and then when it happens and he has settled: Sell him! Repeat with new player.
No, come on. He will not leave. In contrary, he will be even more important next season.
Really amused at people who thinks selling him for 25m is a great deal. We can barely sign Berardi, who has great potential but not better than Perisic at the moment, with that amount. Our goal should be to keep our core players, and improve the squad overall. Way to do it is to scout and sign young promising players at small amount. Sell only when it’s over the market price.
Exactly, i also prefer Perisic to stay.. he is a hard working player like Dirk Kuyt, he is the one that willing to sacrifice for team benefits..
Player with this mentality should stay !
i imagine if we have 11 starter with JZ4/Cambiasso mentality, maybe we wont play beautifully like barca or bayern, but we are guarantied to have a die hard team that will struggle to win matches, which is beautifull to watch, according to me..
and i think we will win many throphy with this kind of squad..
and maybe that’s why we were stronger with Milito – Eto’o (Mou era where Eto’o sacrificed for the team not benitez where Eto’o become a star) than with Ibra – Cruz/Crespo/Adriano or even Vieri – Ronaldo/Adriano/Recoba..
Exactly, well said man. Over the market is key. We should only be selling a core player at ridiculous profits. $25 mil for peresic is shit and we should shit on any offer like that. He’s a shy person thats the only reason it took him a while to be playing like he’s been lately. You can see his personality now and he has been playing like a $40 mil player to me. Goals and assists each week. Anything less we should laugh at nd keep him.
Really!!! He left Wolfsburg with a Champions league in his pocket so he can play for Inter, and now he would leave Inter in order to play Champions league football???!!!
This report is nonsense.
He isn’t that type of guy that gives up. He came here leaving Wolfsburg, a team that is in UCL.
I just made the same point man… Nonsense of report…
2 average performance and he lost himself ?
What a sh*t rumour. It is ridiculous he won’t leave man.
i like perisic, he is good working etc. but if we get more than 25m+ for a 27 year old guy… yes! haha im a turkish student learning economics, believe me 🙂
hehehe
5 million profit and we lose a good inform player. How is that good? And he is only 27. Lazio is asking more for Candreva and Biglia who are older.
oh yeah. and we can keep player like naga too while selling him, fuck us
Did i say we should keep nagatomo?
sorry mate. i don’t get it lol.. i just speak my opinion, not asking what you said :X
sorry saw that comment as an respond to mine on disqus
our team expect to earn 5MM If he leaves, wondering if 25MM would be enough to get someone like Berardi or Candreva-
Perisic is not that skillful, he has great positioning and should be proud that Inter wanted him so badly.
Perisic is more than good enough for Inter at it’s current state.
me myself preffered a great positioning and strong mentallity player than skillful player..
Balotelli, Quaresma and Adriano, they are an example what happened to skillful player without mentality..
Yet, Our JZ4 is the perfect example of a strong mentally with “only average” skill set player..
Exactly. Adriano was the biggest disappointment. With his skills and physical attributes, he was destined to be greater than R9. In 2004 the world was under his shoes. In fact, he was better than CR7 and Ibrahimovic at that time! Shockingly he failed miserably and had given up his destiny to alcohol and night life.
that’s right, he was quick, strong yet very skilfull player..
he’s very dangerous on and off the ball movement, had a very powerfull shoot also deadly from freekick..
i even thought i was a good idea not extend Vieri’s contract and relied on Adriano at that time..
I still remember how often we won matches without any proper tactics or strategy, just relied on his skill and physical brilliance..
and yes, even CR7 don’t have any chance againts him while he is in his best..
Adriano and Ibra was very similiar..
Adriano was more stronger and Ibra more agile..
Nah, he won’t leave.
