Mancini to IC: “The lads did well, but this is football.”

Roberto Mancini stopped to talk to Inter Channel as well.

“We were unlucky, not even a draw would have been fair considering how we played. The lads did well, but this is football. There are moments when things go good or bad and we sometimes complicate things for ourselves as well. We need to work to grow because in football what matters is scoring. Now we need to win on Saturday, hoping that Roma lose. They will travel to Milan the last game of the season and in football you never know. If we create a lot we have to get an easy win, the big teams do this. They score on the first or second opportunity and then they control it. Their goal can happen, but we should have scored a couple before that. There are years where everything goes your way, but we need to give more. We are on the right path as a team and we need to continue to work. Now we need to do our best to finish higher than last year and with as many points as possible. We need to recover because there is another game in three days and we need to give our all.”
