What if Ever Banega were to find Lucas Biglia at Inter? The Argentine midfielder is on his way out from Lazio and Roberto Mancini would love to have him at Inter with his national teammate Banega who will arrive on a free transfer. This according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, but they do admit that it will be difficult to see it happen.
“Even though vice president Javier Zanetti has made some groundwork the problem is the cost of Biglia, 20-25 million euros. Lotito’s Lazio are trying to renew his contract that expires in 2018 and are notoriously expensive to buy players from. Please stop throwing big money to Sampdoria like it’s nothing even paid in installments. Use the money to bring Šime Vrsaljko to fill our much needed fullback position, an offensive right winger (Gabbiadini/Mertens?) and Calleri.

Biglia would be a great addition to the midfield, a mature player like him is always welcomed, especially to our rather young team. but, since Lotito is crazy as fuck, 20m+ for a player above 30 is not for our wallet
on the other hand, Davy Klaasen would worth the 20-25m pricetag on the long run, and he can play in 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 (or 4-3-1-2) without a problem
Davy Klaasen is in no way a Regista. The only reason we are interested in Biglia is the fact that he is a regista. Klaasen is a attacking midfielder and can play in a box to box role but has nowhere near the vision and passing range to play as a regista
I do agree with you that we should focus our attention on young promising players with rest value. I personally like Bazoer more than Klaasen from Ajax and i see Tielemans becoming a star. Both are more adept to play as a regista
its not a question of being a regista or not, i mentioned him because he is a player who can play in the middle of the park and behind the strikers aswell, and roughly valued the same as Biglia. he has pace, ‘sees’ on the pitch and able to score aswell, thats basicly everything our midfield lacks
And that’s why we will add Banega to our roster, in a much cheaper way. But besides Banega, Mancini would like to ad a regista and i totally agree with him. it hurts my eyes to see Medel and Melo on the ball. Hope to see a midfield consisting of a real regista with Kondogbia and Banega in front of him. in attack we have Icardi with two wingers, whoever that will be.
It would be pretty stupid to invest in Klaassen, because he doesn’t fit the requirements of the team.

altho, Biglia is a rather complex player, he has great passing skills and he is one of the best in tackles/interceptions in the league aswell (beats our designated DMs in that category by miles), which makes him a great asset. now you wont find anything like him, especially not in 19 year old kids
with that consideration, i rather sell medel. Though i love him very much, having medel in the midfield is reducing all the qualities that you mentioned.
Maybe, with Biglia conduct-Kondog break and push forward-Banega/Brozo for creativity, our wingers and striker can be sharper than this season.
i wouldnt mind offloading Medel aswell, i think its a luxury to have him on the pitch most of the time. not to mention, hes not really on top of his defensive game aswell, and as a DM thats what he should be here for

medel is’t midfielder….I am pretty sure that playing him as DMC is one of biggest problem in our midfield…I respect his passion, his running and his work, but he is clear center defender, nothing else…but we can’t get high money for him so better to keep him…can be useful in rotation with murillo/miranda and always can “help” us in midfield if we have not better options

Stop playing Fifa, man. Tielemans isn’t a starter for Anderlecht and you want him to start for us. Bazoer is decent, but inconstant. Plus, none of them is a regista like Biglia, I don’t think there is a better option than him on the market right now.

Tielemans maybe isn’t a regular starter, he still started 19 out of the 30 games this season, and played in 24 games this season. Besides that he played 128 games for Anderlecht while he is still a few days short of his 19th birthday. And as for the regista, they would both fit in that role.
Sensi from Cesena is by the way that classic regista. I would love to see him play in Inter. I am afraid we will not trust in young players like him and he will probably move to Juventus where he will shine. We will end up with Biglia or some other 30 year old who will play 2 decent seasons for 20 million. In 2018 we will buy another 30 year old we can’t sell while Juve sells their young player who has developped into a world class player for millions of euro’s reinvesting that money once again in young players.
