According to il Corriere dello Sport Inter and Piero Ausilio are thinking about making a move for 23 year old Florian Thauvin (owned by Newcastle, loaned out to Marseille). Seeing as Newcastle will not be playing in the Premier League next season, some Magpie players could be on their way out. And Inter have been interested in Thauvin in the past as well. Thauvin and Geoffrey Kondogbia are close friends and il Corriere writes that the player has a soft spot for Inter. First contacts have been made with the player’s agent and they have been positive, rumors have it that Inter will try to get him on a loan with an obligation to buy (the Magpies paid 18 million for the player). Since Newcastle will be relegated Il Corriere states that the price will not be too high, but competition for the player might get tough in summer.
