Assane Gnoukouri’s younger brother Wilfred, born in 2000 who plays as a striker for the Inter Allevi was sent off for protests against Atalanta. In the situation that led to his sending off the referee called the game off and thus awarded Atalanta the win. But that was not the end of it, the player has now received a two year ban in which he cannot play football until May 9 in 2018.

The referee reported that Gnoukouri protested vividly when receiving his red card then acted menacingly and while his teammates pull him away his hand reportedly hit the referee in the face. The referee felt threatened and suspended the game.

Inter will appeal the decision since the footage that is available shows the player reacting but in a similar way to other players in the past that received bans of 5 to 6 games.
