Carlo Laudisa, a Gazzetta dello Sport journalist declared Inter‘s next moves in the market: “Mancini will be pleased over Touré and probably Candreva will join the Nerazzurri, despite Lazio’s playing for time. After Erkin and Banega, Inter is close to Vilhena’s hire.”

Not for Toure bc he wont be free and bc his wages are high for a 33 yo, plus hes done, hes not the same anymore, hes coming here to have a pension. I’m all in for Vilhena hes young talented and free. Candreva only if the price is right, Inter shouldnt pay more than 15m for him.
We have invested in talented young players like Murillo, Kondogbia and Icardi. But for us to make it to CL we need an experienced winger that delivers on the same level as Perisic. Candreva is a perfect fit for that, we would have two physical wingers going down the flanks.
Sure, he is a bit expensive but my belief is that if we sign him and Toure they will be guaranteed to keep making money in China when they are too old for Inter. I don’t know if Suning group is good at marketing, but it’s actually a great cross marketing opportunity. They benefit from the stars even when they are on their “downfall”.
I predict that Kovacic will not join Juventus, maybe a loan at the most. The reason they give the impression of interest is to get Inter fans demanding the management to waste EUR 25m to buy him back so Rube dont get him.
i hope he goes to rubentus or bbilan.. i dare him to proof me wrong… for me he’s an overhyped and overated by the fans.. i used to said the same thing to balotelli, and he done nothing to proof me wrong.. kova is just another case of the overated player.. unless he change his attitude, i don’t see kova will become a big thing..
I like the guy, but he will never be a great player, he only stood out in two games for a very mediocre Inter side and had chances under Mazarri and Mancini. EUR 35 well done.
Kovacic was pretty good under Stramaccioni since Strama played him as deep-lying playmaker, his natural position. Meanwhile, Mancio and Mazzarri played him as attacking midfielder behind strikers
Now Staramaccioni is a manager I would definitely like to see return, very unlucky with injuries and made the best of a bad lot. I dont remember Kova playing that well though, but granted he had only just arrived.
I am as disappointing as anyone with no CL next season, but I am forced to think that most of the posters on her started supporting Inter in 2010 with all the anti-Mancini talk. I do not rate him that highly, I agree that his is a CL failure but the facts are that if Mancini was not manager, Miranda, Kondo, Peresic would not have joined and handa and Icardi would have left. Remember the type of players Mazzari could get? yes mostly not wanted anywhere else. Inter have had hard times in the 30 years I have supported them, refereeing scandals etc., which we are seeing again. Mancini brought the first trophy in near a decade after only 2 years in charge and is improving the squad slowly as allowed by FFP. The value of the squad has increased as a result, hence Thohir’s profit on selling. With Suning taking over, the last thing that is needed is another ‘Year 0’ with a new manager, Mancini will be gone soon enough. I suspect the Mancini-hater’s motive is because Kovacic, Jovatic, Adem, were inconsistent. They all got their chance and wasted it. I will finish by saying that the only current Inter player Mourinho is linked to is Miranda because he demands hard work and consistency too, as all top managers do.
i dont care so much about the players, i do care about our play and we play like shit!!! even relegated team prepare for match with us better than we do. mancini is not a coach because he has one week to prepare for a match and we are shit everytime. what is he gonna do this year when we will have matches every 3-4 days ??? and stop that players come for him… players come because finally trohir open his pockets and clubs name attract players not coach. if mancini go coach seria B team no world class player will join him!
Well I care about results. Results win trophies, makes money, get you into the CL. Funny enough results are what Mourinho and Simeone care about too. So go on, who would replace him, and be realistic? Do you really think Peresic and Kondogbia would come for Mazzari? Watford will have a budget of GBP 100m this summer, wait and see even Santon will not join him.
who said i dont care about the results? the facts are that mancio promised us CL if he recieved everything he asked for. inter gave him everything even risking FFP sanction(that we have and need to pay on parts as we agreed) but mancio failed to deliver CL!!!
It was not only Mancinis fault. How about the crap inconsistent players taking some blame? Football is not an exact science and only a Juventus manager can ‘promise’ anything and we all know how they do it. Putting players before the manager/club is a dangerous road to take.
what happened with Mancini this season is “Year 0” for I don’t know how many times.
You’re ignorant if you admit we’re already in “Year 1, 2, or 3” at this point now.
We have been in year 0 every August since 2012, where have you been?
well said.. most of young fans today don’t know our suffering to wait almost 2 decades for the first scudetto under mancini.. i always said that mancini is not the best coach in the world, but he’s the best coach that available for us now.. it’s funny that some people complain about the way we play, that not “beautiful enough”, but they want simeone and mourinho that more pragmatic than mancini..
Yes, we all saw where Mazarris counterattacking free flowing got us. Losing 4-1 at the San Siro to Calgari who got relegated. This isnt basketball, all good sides get defence right first.
Not suffering…, I would say betrayal is the right word. We are no stranger to alienation, unjust harsh treatment from the referee, gut wrenching tragedy (hello Lazio), lack of money to compete against our arch-rivals (although calciopolli made us smike a while).
I agree with the young ones here, I would prefer anybody against mancini at this point. Simply because of his apparent lack of skill to adapt to the new style of football. BUT since he’s among the few that is available and decent enough for us, I agree with yo. Buckle up and stay patient until someone more capable decides to join us or Mancini somehow pull off some hidden ace up his sleeve next season.
IKR.. actually i’m one of the man that opposed mancini comeback to replace mazzari.. because in serie a, if a coach have win something with the team, most of the time their comeback would be a flop.. but since it’s already happen, and no coach with reputation that available for us, i think we should stick to mancini for a while to rebuild this team.. i think 1 or 2 season from now, simeone or some other reputable coach will available for us.. because with FFP and the team we have 2 season ago, it’s really not tempting for reputable coach to look at us. even mourinho rejected us.. we have to face the fact that serie a is not the main attraction for big player and coach now a day too..
actually Mancio won his first title (Coppa Italia) for Inter in 2005 which is his first season at Inter
Sorry, all the disappointing seasons before Mancini have blurred my recollections, of course you are right. That win meant nearly as much to me as the treble, it had been so long since Inter won anything.
Yes! Great post, my friend 🙂
Superb deliberation, like it alot
Guys, I cannot believe the the Mancini hatred from some. The man delivered 2 scuddetos and other trophies in the last decade, the only conclusion I can come to is that some posters on here started following Inter in 2010 – glory hunters, and judging by their posts they are sorry they didnt delay choosing a team for a few years and have chosen Juventus. I expect Inter to have a new manager by season start in any case.
I’m all for Toure (experienced and for free) and Vilhena (young talent and for free) both guys can benefit Inter and will only affect our wages which I believe the Chinese will cover quite well but I’m 100% against Candreva as he is getting old, was inconsistent last season, too expensive and won’t get sold near the amount we’ll be getting him for. Candreva is good, don’t get me wrong, but spending 25m+ on him is way too much on a 29 yr old when there is Berardi, El-Ghazi, etc… who are the same amount or cheaper than Candreva and younger. We need to begin bringing in loads of talents as they can help improve Inter and their values keep increasing
Touré won’t be free, I believe he’d still be quite expensive, hence all the articles and quotes saying he’s too expensive
ya Toure wont be free…
Candreva, banega…just the players we missed last season..that decisive cutting edge..looking forward to the new season…if I just wake up and see Mancio out and Simione in :'(
