Premium Sport report that Roberto Mancini sign a one-year contract extension following the Suning takeover of the club. The coach’s current deal runs out next summer but it would appear that the Chinese would like to carry on with Mancini at the helm.

Never a good idea for a coach to be in his contract year. I agree with the move. Still doesnt stop us from firing him if we want. It just solidifies his position with the players (Incoming and already owned)

not so long time ago, I read about mancini being pissed off that he didn’t informed regarding the take over.

Well now we have the money to extend a managers contract and dump him a week later if someone better comes along. If they choose to do something silly like that
