Massimo Moratti took time out of Samuel Eto’o’s wedding to speak with Corriere dello Sport and said: “I’m pleased that people like and don’t forget me, but my exit by Inter was three years ago, not today. But as a fan I’ll never resign”.

He also spoke about Suning coming in: “I think that to get a such strong group at Inter is important, their entry in Italian football is a good thing because they are serious and work well. When they come to Milano impressed me, they want to take Inter on the top and I hope they’ll do. Thohir was smart to involve Suning because among the potential partners it’s a group offering guarantees. But I don’t mind what kind of relationships they have, I sold my shares to Thohir.”

On Mancini and transfers: “Mancini is not being questioned because he’s a great coach and can do a good job after having rebuilt things in the last year and half. Transfers depend on the FFP, we have to respect the restrictions. Despite it, Suning want to build a competitive team. If they invested in Inter surely they want good results and for the fans it’s a guarantee.”
