Actually I don’t know wtf this news has related with Inter? Rising star is a bit of a stretch. Saw a couple of Madrid games where he primarily deployed as center midfielder. True he’s a bit better individually but whenever he got the ball he likes to dribble it all the way to Kansas City, leaving all of his teammates befuddled whenever (98% of the time lol) he’s disposessed.
Every rising star (especially midfielder at that) should always has some kind of awareness or lacking it, some kind of willingness to protect his own half in transition. Even Perisic has an abundance of the latter, which Kova doesn’t.

It all depends on how he develops mentally. He has the skillset to be extremely good, but might not have the brain.
Only time will tell, but he defintely needs to move to a club where he gets regularly playing time, or else he wont develop and get a better understanding of the game.

I agree, he lacks confidence. I think he moved to big teams too early in his career.
He should move to some midtable club in one of the big leagues and just have regular playing time for 2 or 3 seasons. Then he would mature and gain a lot of experience and become more confident and get better understanding of the game.
He has the skillset, but mentally he is lacking right now. But only extraordinary players are mentally ready for the highest level at his age, so its nothing to be ashamed at.
