Roberto Mancini and the new owners Suning, have different ambitions when it comes to Inter’s mercato. Mancini has made no secret of the fact he’d like to sign Yaya Touré, Pablo Zabaleta and Antonio Candreva – who remains tricky to acquire due to Lotito being unwilling to budge from 25 million euro. Suning on the other hand would rather sign the players of tomorrow in Gabriel Jesus, Domenico Berardi and Joao Mario. Mancini is working with a team far from what he was after and it is expected that he will meet with one of the new owners in the coming days to discuss transfer ambitions.

I say find a compromise. Buy mancino Yaya or which ever old fuck he wants and buy a young talent like Jesus or Berardi. But we already have Kondog & now Banega. So where would grandpa Yaya fit anyways?
Our transfer priority should be getting rid of our average fullbacks first. Then adding wingers. We have a young talented squad and have already signed two fullbacks and one good CM/CAM. If we don’t lose anybody with the addition of a worldclass winger, we are ready to go..
if mancini goes, either full assault on diego simeone, or Eusebio Di Francesco and get berardi both managers are good and serie a tested both are winners and both develop young talents. de boar is an outside bet, great at developing talent but not too sure on his tactical ability

I can’t understand Mancio’s logic. We need a regista. What’s the point of getting Toure since he’s not a regista (he’s a box to box midfielder)???!! If Inter need a regista, they should get player like Nainggolan. He’s a ball winner, has a scoring and game making ability too. He also knows Serie A really well
it’s like the other coach whom appreciated a particular player too much. as simple as that. viewing and projecting them as the missing piece of his tactical plans
it’s normal for a people when they have worked together before, and in some other times someone want to hire someone they knew.
if i am not mistaken we currently have 6 fullbacks in our team ( Nagatomo, santon, ambrosio, ansaldi, erkin and dodo), there is no need for zabaleta to come in unless we get rid of 3 fullbacks, which i doubt will happen.
i understand mancinis reasoning for wanting experienced players but berardi is a once in a lifetime opportunity as well as gabriel jesus, they should be priority numero uno. as for the midfield actually i think it would be wise to get a player who is proven, experienced and just entering his peak years meaning aged between (25-28) and not yaya toure or jose mario as both are extremely expensive and are risky deals. yaya being too old and jose mario being too young and inexperinced.
So someone like Banega?
yea i think what we need is a player with a similar profile as banega but with different characteristics, for example someone like witsel. someone who would compliment banega. basically a player similar to Grzegorz Krychowiak to play alongside our banega
tbh, at this point, i agree with mancini. not because i’m a fan of him, but if i looked back at last season, what is lacking in Inter is experience, mentality and quality crossing to feed icardi.
for me, it’s like a dream if we can get gabriel jesus and berardi and i’am soo happy if that happen. but i think, that not the urgent need.
yaya and zabaleta can give experience and mentality to our squad since they are already taste how to be a champion and fight in a high level competition.
yeah i know, there is a chance that they will flop in Inter just like vidic, but, that is mancini’s job so that thing will not happen

So Mancini wants old and finished/proven players (and over the hill in the case og Yaya and Zaba) and Suning wants young and unfinished/unproven players.
Im not sure either is a great way to go at it tbh. Ideally Inter needs something in between, players in their prime who can make an immediate impact to get back in the CL.
